In Copenhagen you can rent out your home through Airbnb for at most 70 nights a year. That changes the whole calculation. You cannot make up for a mediocre listing by simply renting more. Every night has to sell at the right price, and the price depends on how much guests trust you before they have ever met you.
That trust has a number. It is your rating, and the badge that comes with keeping it high quarter after quarter: Superhost. The requirements are published in Airbnb's own Help Center and have been stable for years, measured over the past 12 months.
There is no application. Hit the numbers at the quarterly assessment and the badge appears automatically. Fall below them and it disappears at the next assessment, just as automatically. Note the cancellation rule in particular. It is the harshest one because the margin is so small, and a single host cancellation can in practice cost you the badge for up to four quarters. Never cancel to resell a night at a higher price, because both the algorithm and the requirements punish it.
Superhost is not a certificate for the wall. It works along the whole chain: in search, in the moment a guest decides to book, and in the price you can hold on your best nights.
