How much can your home earn on Airbnb?

Get a realistic estimate in 30 seconds, based on Copenhagen market data and the official 2026 tax rules. No sign-up needed to see the number.

How we calculate: we assume 85 percent occupancy on the nights you make the home available, and combine it with per-neighbourhood nightly averages from the Copenhagen short-term rental market. The estimate reflects the months you select and applies seasonal pricing, so summer nights earn more than winter nights.

Tax follows the Skattestyrelsen 2026 rules for platform-reported rental: a 35,100 kr allowance, then 60 percent of the surplus taxed as capital income at roughly 35 percent. This is an indicative estimate. Actual earnings depend on your home's condition, exact location, photos and pricing.

How accurate is it? It is a realistic starting point based on Copenhagen averages for your neighbourhood, size and bedroom count. Real earnings can be 10 to 20 percent higher or lower depending on your photos, reviews, pricing and how the home is looked after. In Copenhagen you can rent out your entire home for a maximum of 70 nights per year through a reporting platform, and renting single rooms while you live there does not count toward the limit.
