The number you see here is the number you pay. We take 23% of what Airbnb pays out, that is the rental income after Airbnb's service fee, including VAT, and a one-off fee of 1,499 kr including VAT when we put your home into operation. There is nothing more.
23% incl. VAT of the Airbnb payout, on a flexible agreement with no minimum term. 1,499 kr incl. VAT as a one-off onboarding fee, invoiced per property at signature.
The maths in kr: the guest pays 10,000 kr, Airbnb service fee 15.5% plus VAT minus 1,938 kr, Airbnb pays out 8,062 kr, Arnor fee 23% incl. VAT minus 1,854 kr, for you 6,208 kr. Measured against what the guest pays, our fee works out at 18.5%. Plus the one-off onboarding fee of 1,499 kr incl. VAT in the first year. Tax comes on top and depends on your situation. The first 35,100 kr are tax free in 2026.
How we get paid: on Airbnb we are a co-host on your listing. Airbnb splits every booking automatically, so our share goes straight to us and the rest goes straight to you. You never pay us an invoice.
Cleaning and the guest fee: the guest pays a cleaning fee, set on the platform. That fee pays for the cleaning and the linen between stays, and it sits outside the 23%. You do not pay for cleaning between guests yourself.
What you pay directly: if you want professional photos of the home, we recommend a photographer and coordinate the shoot, but you pay the photographer directly. You get the price before we book anything, and you decide whether to use one.
